About the RiderRebekah Mingari is a dedicated young rider who shows determination both in and out of the dressage arena. She started learning about dressage at a very young age, and progressed through the levels on her own mount, Unico. Together, they gained experience starting in training level and competing together as high as Intermediate 1. That team also simultaneously was riding for Region 2, making the NAJYRC team three consecutive times both as a junior and a young rider. Currently, Rebekah is a resident trainer for Timbach Farms in Southern Indiana, where she works with a variety of Indiana bread young KWPN Dutch Warmbloods. Her current mount Elzarma TF, is a 7 year old Dutch Warmblood. They have had much success together since the beginning of their partnership. In the scant 6 months that they have trained together, they returned home from the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships with a silver medal in the young rider division for this year's freestyle. Outside of the dressage arena, Rebekah was the 2015 USDF Youth Volunteer of the Year, and was also selected to observe the Nation's Cup CDIO show in Aachen Germany, by The Dressage Foundation. She is currently a senior at the University of Louisville, majoring in Equine Business, minoring in International Business, and Entrepreneurship. Through her education, she was able to study abroad in Germany for six months at the European School of Business outside of Frankfurt Germany. During that time, she was able to train and assist as a working student with two of the top trainers in the world, as well as have the ability to watch numerous elite Olympic riders in Europe.
