Borné Saddlery Policies

Custom Saddle Orders:
Custom saddles made to measure are fitted according to the shape of your horse's back and to you - the rider. For this reason we have a "no return" policy on custom saddle orders (to wither tracings). For more information, download our Custom Order Form.

Since our saddles are customized, the photos on our website may show different options that are available.

Inventory "Stock" Saddles:
Demo saddles may be used on a “trial” basis for a period of 10 days. A $100.00 non-refundable fee will be charged prior to shipping. Customer must provide a valid credit card number to remain on file as a guarantee of payment should the saddle not be returned. All shipping charges will be paid by the customer. Trial saddles will be returned clean and undamaged via UPS Ground and tracking number will be provided to Borné Saddlery upon shipment. A minimum amount of $2000.00 insurance (per saddle) will be required on all shipments.

Returns:
Returns must be shipped within 15 days of receipt and show no signs of wear or damage for refund. $50.00 restocking fee will apply to all returned merchandise.

Shipping:
Saddles are shipped via UPS Ground within the USA for $25 + Insurance ($2000 minimum required per saddle). Combined shipping available on orders of two or more saddles. International shipping must be quoted prior to purchase. Expedited shipping available upon request.

Guarantee:
Trees are guaranteed for 5 years unless damaged by customer. Damaged saddles will be returned to Borné Saddlery at customer’s expense and will be replaced by Borné Saddlery within normal delivery time. No refunds apply to damaged saddles.

Delivery Time:
Allow minimum of 12 weeks.
