Borné Saddlery was founded by Karen Borne of Richmond, Texas in 2000. The inspiration for the store was a combined love for Sjolling, her Friesian gelding, and the desire to provide new and interesting tack and apparel to horse lovers everywhere.

Our saddlemakers, located in the very heart of England's industrial saddle district, have over 31 years of experience in the art of professional saddlemaking. Our saddlemakers are also members of the prestigious Society of Master Saddlers (UK) Ltd., a trade association designed to safeguard the quality of work, training, and qualifications of those saddlers who make saddles, bridles, and leatherwork.

The emphasis for Borné Saddlery is high quality custom saddles and strap goods. Our store is mobile and internet-based allowing us the flexibility to travel to horse shows and personally meet our customers when possible.
